Tony established William Anthony Excavating in 1989 after years of experience in both the site construction and landscaping industries. Today, with 20 employees and a fleet of 30 trucks and equipment, Tony and William Anthony have built a reputation of excellence and experience in the Rhode Island construction industry.
Tony oversees all phases of operation from the estimating and bidding of commercial and residential projects to the management and supervision of projects and employees. Tony is committed to excellence in all we do and believes in the timely delivery of the highest quality projects for the best value.
With his years of experience Tony uses innovative construction methods and problem-solving approaches to uniquely and specifically meet the needs of each customer. Tony is a Past President of The National Utility Contractors Association of Rhode Island (NUCARI) as well as a current member of the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) Board of Directors. A past President of the Associates of the Rhode Island Troopers Association (ARITA), Board Member of the Associated Builders and Contractors- Rhode Island (ABCRI), Tony also holds memberships with the Owner Operators Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA), Rhode Island Independent Contractors & Associates (RIICA) and was appointed by the Governor of Rhode Island to the Rhode Island Contractors Registration and Licensing Board (CRLB) for Underground Utility Contractors Licensing Board.
Brenda possesses 20 years experience as an international business purchasing manager and in the market research industry. Brenda currently holds a Bachelor of Arts from URI in Marketing and Management. Brenda is also a member of the Educational Subcommittee of the Associated Builders and Contractors- Rhode Island (ABCRI).
Jim Marsh has been a Construction Professional since 1989 upon graduating Hall Institute. He entered the business as a Draftsman, working his way up with multiple companies throughout Southern New England to serve in positions such as head Estimator and Project Superintendent handling all facets of project management. He has estimated, scheduled, budgeted, managed and value engineered projects up to 3 million dollars with successful completion results. He currently is second to Tony Raposo at William Anthony Excavation overseeing the Estimating, Submittals, Scheduling, Billing and Quality Control for all work performed.
